ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Design Operations Manager to support and coordinate the full operational ecosystem of our Design organization.
You will ensure projects run smoothly, resources are well‑allocated, teams stay aligned, and processes remain efficient and scalable.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex creative and technical environments.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Lead end to end project operations: scope, budgets, timelines, resources.
• Prepare project documentation (SOW, mission descriptions) and support supplier selection.
• Coordinate local purchasing of tools, equipment, and software together with Budget & Planning.
• Ensure accurate project follow up with Design teams, tracking milestones and identifying risks early.
• Act as the key point of contact between Design and internal partners (Engineering, SWX, Product, Brand, etc.).
• Facilitate regular meetings, reviews, and presentations to keep teams aligned.
• Address operational needs and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Apply and help improve Design Operations processes in collaboration with global teams.
• Prioritize local design activities and allocate resources across multiple projects.
• Support project proposals, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Track workload, project performance, and operational KPIs.
• Manage the local Operations team (up to 3 people depending on region): objectives, development, and training needs.
• Promote a collaborative, solution oriented work environment.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
• Internally: Design Operations, Design Managers, Designers, Product & Brand teams.
• Externally: Suppliers and partners supporting project delivery.
Profile
• Master's degree in Project Management, Design, Engineering, Digital, Communication or related fields.
• 5-10 years of experience in project or operations management, ideally in design driven, engineering, digital, or creative environments.
• Strong understanding of how design teams work and how to support them operationally.
• Experience with project planning tools, issue tracking platforms, and KPI monitoring.
• Comfortable leading meetings and collaborating in English (B2 level or above).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and maintain a clear picture of priorities.
