Job description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Intelligence Trainee to join our Leapmotor International team. In this role, you will be in charge of collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to support strategic decision-making across our automotive business. You will play a critical role in understanding market trends, competitor activity, and industry shifts.

Leapmotor International BV is a Stellantis-led joint venture with a 51/49 partnership between Stellantis N.V. and Leapmotor. Headquartered in Amsterdam, the company is focused on redefining the electric vehicle (EV) landscape by leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovation. Leapmotor International is committed to delivering tech-centric, affordable electric mobility solutions to global customers. The company began its operations in Europe in September 2024 and plans to expand into India, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor automotive industry trends, regulatory changes, incentive policies etc. in global car market and generate insightful reports to support marketing decisions.
• Use tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Thinkcell to create real-time marketing intelligence dashboards for internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, product, and executive teams.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis of key competitors' sales performance, marketing strategies, pricing, product launches, and positioning.
• Collaborate with marketing sales, and product teams to identify data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
• Analyse customer data, segmentation models, and buyer personas to identify emerging customer needs.
• Support strategic planning, product development, and go-to-market strategy with data-driven intelligence.

Profile

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analysis, Automotive, or a related field.
• Experience in marketing intelligence, market research, or business analytics, preferably in the automotive industry, is a plus.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Familiarity with automotive market data sources is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-national, cross-functional environment.
• Ability to present complex story in a clear and compelling manner.
• Passion for the automotive industry and staying ahead of trends in mobility and electrification.
• Fluency in English is required; additional European languages or Chinese are a plus.
