Description de la mission

As a Senior Cloud FinOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing cloud costs across Stellantis' multi-cloud environment. You will work at the intersection of engineering, finance, and operations, ensuring that cloud financial management aligns with business objectives. Your expertise in FinOps methodologies, cloud cost governance, and automation will help drive efficiency, visibility, and accountability in cloud spending.



Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Cost Optimization & Management:
- Analyze cloud usage trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Implement FinOps best practices to optimize cloud resource allocation (e.g., right-sizing, auto-scaling, reserved instances, savings plans, spot instances).
- Develop strategies to reduce waste and improve cost efficiency.

Cloud Cost Visibility & Forecasting:
-Build and maintain real-time dashboards to provide visibility into cloud expenses.
-Work closely with finance teams to improve budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
-Develop and refine chargeback/showback models to allocate cloud costs accurately.

Governance & Compliance:
-Define and enforce cloud cost governance policies, including tagging strategies and budget thresholds.
-Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
-Collaborate with security and compliance teams to align cost controls with enterprise risk management.

FinOps Tooling & Automation:
-Implement and manage FinOps tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Apptio Cloudability).
-Automate cost monitoring, anomaly detection, and alerting to prevent budget overruns.
-Integrate FinOps automation into CI/CD workflows and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) pipelines.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Culture Building:
-Work closely with engineering teams to embed cost efficiency into architecture and DevOps workflows.
-Partner with Finance teams to ensure alignment between cloud spending and corporate financial reporting.
-Educate and advocate for a FinOps culture, promoting cost awareness across teams.

Profil

5+ years of experience in Cloud FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Cloud Engineering with a strong focus on financial optimization.
Deep expertise in AWS, Azure cost management tools and pricing models.
Strong understanding of FinOps principles, cost allocation, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience with chargeback/showback models and multi-cloud cost visibility strategies.
Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, IaaC, Terraform) for cost tracking and optimization.


Skills:
Experience with FinOps platforms (Apptio Cloudability, AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across engineering, finance, and executive teams.
Ability to implement cloud cost governance policies at scale.
FinOps Certified Practitioner or FinOps Certified Professional certification is a plus.
