Description de la mission

The Product Engineer for EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Validation plays a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and reporting of EMC tests for vehicles and modules. This position involves close collaboration with both internal and external clients to maintain high-quality standards, efficient pricing models, and customized service offerings. The engineer oversees all test activities, verifies data accuracy, and ensures the adherence to lab procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Function as the primary point of contact for clients, both internal and external, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
• Create, review and approve all vehicle and module EMC test plans, data, and final reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Attend and supervise EMC tests on component and vehicle level in internal and external test labs.
• Develop corrective actions for nonconformances, proof effectiveness and request implementation.
• Track and address product-related EMC issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Manage quality assurance processes for EMC tests performed.
• Develop and maintain EMC test procedures in collaboration with the technical and quality management teams.
• Ensure all work functions and record-keeping comply with approved laboratory procedures and policies.
• Identify, document, and manage nonconformance issues through corrective action requests.
• Proactively identify potential nonconformance risks and initiate preventive action requests.
• Oversee and verify test activities, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
• Approve and sign off on final reports after verifying test data.

Profil

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) with experience or training in EMC.
• Proven experience in an Electrical/EMC Test Facility.
• Proficient in using RF Test Equipment and understanding EMC Test Specifications.
• Familiarity with CAN Diagnostic Tools and Simulation Equipment.
• Ability to business trips to external EMC labs
• Driving license for passenger vehicles


Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools like CANoe.
• Strong interpersonal and project management abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Other Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Sharepoint, Teams).
• Proficiency in PLM tool (product lifecycle management)


This position is ideal for a driven 5 to 10 years experienced engineer looking to apply their expertise in EMC validation while working in a dynamic, client-facing role. Strong project management and technical abilities are key to success in this role.
