Description de la mission

Raw Material Expert is accountable for technical performance , industrial and economical knowledge of Raw Materials used for Battery Cell production and fuel cell technologies : extraction (mining), refining processes, precursor processes and related costs structures.

The Raw Material Expert will assist the worldwide teams supporting cell cost engineers and internal stockholders for strategical decisions


Mission:

Contribute to the Raw material Strategic Vision for Stellantis.

Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge on Raw Materials mining, refining & related cost, also through his current expertise and continuous contacts / visits with external Stakeholders (Miners, Precursors, Cell Suppliers)

Provide Long-term techno-economical guidance and direction for individuals and projects products.


Activity

Build and maintain techno-economical competences (Raw material performance based on technical requirements and build of Cost model)

Support the Evaluation and negotiation with Raw material suppliers & precursors

Support to the Should Cost evaluation of Tier 1 and technical discussion with Tier 2

Evaluation of GWP ( Global worming potential)

Operate in tight conjunction with Engineering, Project and Purchasing to reach a competitive process cost in compliance with all technical, time and quality requirements for current material and Future raw material Technologies/Types

Work with Suppliers to evaluate the process solutions to ensure the competitiveness of Stellantis

Profil

Master Degree in Chemical Industrial Engineering & process or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in refining areas , Precursors or Cell Manufacturer facility
Deep knowledge of Cell structure, technology & materials, specifically raw materials and related processes & cost : properties, mining, refining
Ability to interface with all levels of the enterprise, across multiple organizations and regions.
Attitude to Team working & Negotiation
Good communication and interpersonal skills
