Job description
Infotainment and Connectivity Vehicle Architect responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
▪ Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop the Features Functional High Level Architecture based on conceptual and high level functionality guidelines, with a special
focus on On-Board/Off-Board Connectivity and Infotainment aspects
▪ Owning Technical Products, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop design and technical requirements
▪ Designing distribution of function(s) across the Systems and Sub-System and document the feature design for the development of components functionality and interfaces
▪ Serving as the central resource with design as the product moves through development
▪ Acting as feature Sub-System architect champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholder and align design activity with business goals and priorities
▪ Managing the prioritization and refinement of the design work products while working with the development teams to clarify requirements balancing business needs with technical
requirements
▪ Taking the lead on issue resolution
▪ For systems in design
▪ Maintain knowledge of in vehicle application development and connectivity domain in the industry
▪ At Sub-System level, by supporting integration and development teams to identify, root cause and correct issues
▪ Working with Business teams to define primary customer requirements for new connectivity features
▪ Working with integration and development teams on a daily basis to identify, root cause and correct issues
▪ Supporting Creation of user stories and requirements defining feature functionality
▪ Granting the production of the deliverables of his or her Sub-System for each design step under project management
▪ Ensuring
▪ Design traceability between the inputs and outputs of his or
her subsystem up to the component layer or parts (functional, dysfunctional, organic requirements whether they
are in text format or in the form of specification models)
▪ Technical reviews of subsystem deliverables carried out according to the contractor's schedule
▪ The optimal transversality (cross-platform or cross-range) of the subsystem
▪ Contributing
▪ To the optimization of his or her Sub-System application solutions
▪ To Module/Sub-Systems/Component layer technical strategies/policies definition
▪ To the definition of the Integration and Validation
▪ To the analysis of defects on the organic functional perimeter of the Sub-System to determine the cause of the problem
▪ Managing the correction of the problem when the Sub-System design is involved
▪ Evaluating the KPI adherence throughout the entire process, with special attention on the already existing platform constraints
▪ Acting as a central source of information for Sub-Systems, Component / Development teams

Technical skills
▪ Master of Science in Computer, Electrical, Information Engineering or equivalent.
▪ 5+ years of experience in automotive infotainment, telematics or cluster architecture.
▪ Experience with Automotive Infotainment and Connectivity systems
▪ Experience with Automotive Vehicle Networks and CAN bus architecture
▪ Experience writing technical requirements and/or feature specifications
▪ Experience capturing and managing design requirements including writing requirements
specification
▪ Experience in writing technical specifications including use cases, system diagrams, activity
diagrams based on UML rules
▪ Understanding of the Engineering designer role for embedded systems
▪ Understanding of cloud networks and system design
▪ Excellent English skills, being proficient in technical communication, verbal and written
▪ Knowledge of Jira, Confluence system
▪ Knowledge of Enterprise Architect or similar modeling tool
▪ Experience as module or system architect owner
▪ Capability to complete the system DFMEA for the connected features in automotive
▪ Deep understanding of API layers and interfaces in connected vehicles environment
Knowledge of the Treat Analysis and Risk Assessment in order to support security team work
▪ Capability to define the correct KPIs for system components
▪ Availability to travel
